Kirkland® minoxidil in Ireland: guide and where to buy

Can you buy Kirkland® Signature minoxidil in Ireland? Irish rules, delivery to Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick, euro prices and the best FOLIGAIN® alternative.

Is Kirkland® Signature minoxidil sold in Ireland?

No. Costco® runs a single warehouse in Ireland, in Baldonnell near Dublin, but Kirkland® Signature minoxidil is a US over-the-counter product and is not stocked in Irish or other European Costco® stores.

What you see online in Ireland are mostly parallel imports from the US or the UK. They often arrive with US labelling, can be held at customs, and since Brexit, parcels from the UK may carry extra VAT and handling fees.

Minoxidil rules in Ireland

Topical minoxidil at 2% and 5% is available without prescription in Ireland, through pharmacies and approved online retailers. Oral (tablet) minoxidil for hair loss needs a prescription from a GP or dermatologist.

If you are unsure whether minoxidil suits you — for example with a heart condition, during pregnancy or with sudden patchy hair loss — ask your pharmacist or GP before you start.

Buying online with delivery across Ireland

FOLIGAIN® has a dedicated Irish store that ships within the EU, priced in euro with VAT included — no customs surprises. Delivery covers Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford, Kilkenny, Sligo and the rest of the Republic of Ireland.

Visitors in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Derry~Londonderry) are usually better served by the UK store, which prices in pounds sterling. You can switch store at any time with the country menu at the top of the page.

Which product should Irish buyers choose?

Men who used Kirkland® Signature 5% liquid can switch straight to FOLIGAIN® 5% solution, or to the 5% foam if the liquid irritates the scalp. Women usually do best with 2% liquid twice a day or 5% foam once a day.

Give any product at least four months before judging results, and expect some early shedding in the first weeks — it is a normal sign the treatment is working.

Prices in the Irish FOLIGAIN® store

Prices are the store's own listed prices on 12 October 2026, in the store's currency. Kirkland® is not sold in European stores and is only available through imports.
