Kirkland® Minoxidil Europe
Minoxidil foam vs liquid: which is better for you?
Last reviewed:
Both formats deliver minoxidil to the scalp. The best choice depends on your scalp sensitivity, hair length and routine.
Comparison
| Liquid solution | Foam | |

Who should choose foam
If the liquid makes your scalp itchy or flaky, foam is often better tolerated because it usually contains no propylene glycol. FOLIGAIN® offers a 5% foam for men and a foam for women in Europe.
Who should choose liquid
Liquid is very precise and typically more economical. If you want liquid but find alcohol drying, the FOLIGAIN® low-alcohol 5% formula is a middle ground that Kirkland® does not offer.
